Wow, just went there and man, what customer service. Jeff is phenomenal. The entire staff is great. Always make you feel welcome. I only go to Wimpeys for any of my needs.

I did not buy anything from them but had accidentally agreed to purchase an item on eBay that was for local pickup only. I am located in MN so driving to CA was not in the cards. I reached out to Wimpey's on a Sunday evening and had a processed return within a hour. Great customer service and business ethics.Max

They give me the highest offers for my jewelry compared to the surrounding pawn shops and jewelry stores. They also have an X-Ray (or XRF) machine that test the exact gold purity that takes two seconds to read so i don't have to wait around for someone to do a scratch test. Overall great business and lots of goodies in the shop.

Fair dealings and the staff doesn’t make you feel unwelcome. Been buying and selling here for a couple months and have been able to strike deals without feeling whored out unlike other places that sell sell and then low ball the customers when it’s time to buy. I highly recommend this pawn shop me and my husband checked out numerous pawn shops and this one was by far the best from the best price for what we had to customer service its our favorite. The last two times Junior helped me out and he was honest and super sweet and helpful. If your in need of a loan or in need of quick cash and have gold, tools or quality items bring it here. I only leave reviews when they are deserved and this review was a long time coming after my experiences with Jr I had to take some time to leave this review. This place has a variety of stuff to sell. I came just to sell my item but end up looking around for a hour to see what they had to offer. There was some good prices on the items but had to hold back from purchasing more stuff. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will be coming back for any more stuff to sell.

Do to traffic I showed up just before closing. I was rushing in expecting to be met with your normal not so friendly pawnshop staffer telling me I was too late. Instead I was welcomed in and helped out quickly professionally and they even recommended splitting my two items into to loans to allow me to retrieve them easier without being prompted to do so. The offers were fair for the item the FIRST TIME!! NO HAGGLING to get to what I needed they came in 400.00 over what I was looking to get allowing me some wiggle room to not just scrape by.Will be back!Will recommend to anyone looking for a fair and professional experience.
